The X Hot 3-wood is an extension of Callaway Golf’s X Fairway Woods line, incorporated with a larger head volume and shallow face for increased forgiveness and confidence. Its 455 Carpenter Steel face is lighter and stronger than a traditional stainless steel face, providing increased ball speed for unmatched distance from any other 3-wood Callaway Golf produces. The face also allows for the larger head volume, which helps Callaway Golf engineers raise the Moment of Inertia for greater forgiveness and more stability.
The lighter, stronger 455 Carpenter Steel Face provides increased ball speed off the clubface resulting in unmatched distance from a Callaway Golf 3-wood. The steel face also enables our engineers to increase the clubhead volume for a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI), greater forgiveness and stability, and more confidence at address.
The X-Sole Design allows the clubhead to rest on two distinct areas of the sole, eliminating the tendency of a clubhead to rock back and forth and helping ensure that shots start on-line.
The long Fujikura Banzai shaft provides great feel and exceptional control to complement the X Hot clubhead features. At 44 inches, it offers increased clubhead speed for increased distance.
The club also features patented Callaway Golf technologies S2H2 and Tru-Bore. S2H2 increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead. Tru-Bore provides improved feel and clubhead control.
